Katie Grogg

Since graduating in 2017 from Belmont University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Katie has spent most of her time performing on the high seas! She made a home with Disney Cruise Line and most notably premiered the role of Elsa in Frozen on the Disney Fantasy, and was part of the inaugural cast of the Disney Wish. Since returning to land life, Katie has been studying and performing all around New York City.

In 2021, Katie earned her Masters in Music Theatre Vocal Pedagogy from Carthage College where she eagerly studied the anatomy and function of the voice. She is passionate about helping her students hone their unique and individual sound. As an avid crossword solver, Katie uses her puzzle mindset to help students put together the pieces of their instrument to find efficiency and freedom in the whole. She also believes that storytelling is at the center of all singing, so every piece is approached through an acting lens in order to let the truth of the story inform the voice and vice versa.
