Amy Linden is incredibly passionate about working with the amazing students of MTCA! Originally from Cleveland OH, Amy is an NYC area-based Voice Teacher and actress specializing in Musical Theatre and Contemporary styles. She is a graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education (M.A.T.) from CUNY Lehman College. She is a Certified Voice Teacher via New York Vocal Coaching and has attended the Shenandoah University CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institute, as well as guest lectured for the MT students of SUNY New Paltz and the Frank Sinatra HS for the Arts. Amy is also a member of Actors’ Equity Association. As an actress, Amy appeared most notably on the national tour of The Bridges of Madison County by Jason Robert Brown. She is highly sought after by composers for her wide vocal range and advanced musicianship; Amy has performed in countless labs, workshops and concerts and recorded dozens of professional demos. Most recently, Amy appeared Off Broadway in the new musical The Magnificent Seven by Gordon Leary and Julia Meinwald (original cast album now available everywhere for streaming!)
