Carrie Lyn Brandon is a voice teacher, actor, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and audition coach, based out of New York City and originally from The San Francisco Bay Area. She is a proud graduate of Penn State University’s Musical Theatre BFA Program, where she studied the Bel Canto/ Can Belto curriculum with renowned Musical Theatre vocal pedagogy leader Mary Saunders-Barton. Carrie received her certificate in vocal pedagogy from The Institute for Vocal Advancement, and is always excited to participate yearly in vocal pedagogy and Musical Theatre conferences to continue her education and stay current in the field.
As an actor, Carrie has most notably toured with the National Tours of Once the Musical (Girl Cover) and A Charlie Brown Christmas (Patty). Carrie has performed in regional theaters all over the country, including playing leading roles at North Carolina Theatre, Sharon Playhouse, Florida Studio Theatre, Lake Dillon Theatre Company and The Oregon Cabaret Theatre, and more.
In addition to this, she has performed on cruise ships, sung with symphonies, recorded CD’s, headlined singer-songwriter shows, and sung with jazz, rock and folk bands. She plays guitar, mandolin, piano, accordion, ukulele, autoharp, and more! Carrie loves working with students to find and strengthen their authentic voice.
