Tyler Jones is a voice teacher and actor based in NYC. He specializes in singing voice instruction for professional —and pre-professional — vocal athletes across a range of industries and musical genres, including Broadway, Pop/Rock, Film/TV, and more. His clients have included Tony and Emmy winners, television series stars, singer-songwriters, and dedicated high school artists. Tyler is passionate about guiding MTCA clients towards developing their freest and most authentic sound, equipping them with technical foundations that will serve them well into their professional artistic careers. He has served as a Production Vocal Coach for Hulu’s musical series, “Up Here,” and has held singing masterclasses for the MT department at University of Michigan. Tyler has a special interest in vocal health, and has completed a Laryngology Observership at NYC’s premier voice clinic for Broadway performers, Sean Parker Institute For The Voice.

 

Tyler is a proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, and NYSTA. As an actor, Tyler has appeared in musicals such as THE BOOK OF MORMON, and most recently, alongside Anne Hathaway in Apple TV’s “We Crashed.” Other theatre: Leading roles at TUTS; Broadway at Sacramento Music Circus; Long Wharf; Maltz-Jupiter; Connecticut Rep, among others.
